Travel to Spain on Oakton Tour

Experience the culture of Spain on a travel/study tour offered through Oakton Community College. In 2005, two-week tours will depart on April 8, June 3, and Sept 30.

Travelers will have the opportunity to learn about the rich culture, historic architecture, and famous artists in the town of Barcelona. Visitors will view the unique architecture of Gaudi as they travel along the el Paseo de Garcia, and visit the Picasso Museum to enjoy various collections of the famous artist.

In Rute, a rural town located in the Andalusia region, explorers will interact with local residents during their day trip to this small community. Highlights of this exciting visit include a visit to the Casa Museo del Jamon, a special demonstration on the making of Anisette, a regional liquor, and an intimate dinner with local Spanish residents.
