OAKTON TO HOST STRESS WORKSHOP


As part of its Continuing Education for Health Professionals program, Oakton Community College is hosting a Traumatic Stress Workshop: The Short and Long Term Effects of Treatment.

The workshop runs from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 29, at Oakton's Des Plaines Campus, 1600 E. Golf Rd.

Presenters will focus on understanding traumatic stress and providing an overview of individual and group treatment. Crisis intervention will be highlighted.

The fee for this workshop is $60, and includes lunch. For more information, call (847) 635-1808.
