Oakton Community College will be closed on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from May 31 through Aug. 18. The College will resume its standard hours of operation on Monday, Aug. 19.

Registration continues for summer credit classes at the Des Plaines campus, 1600 E. Golf Road, and at the Ray Hartstein Campus, 7701 N. Lincoln Avenue, Skokie. Sign up quickly to secure a place in the class of your choice and to avoid paying late registration fees.

To fit your summer schedule, Oakton offers morning, afternoon, and evening courses in three sessions: the interim session beginning May 14, the eight-week session from June 3 to July 25, and the seven-week session from June 10 to July 25.

Through May 25, students may register in-person Monday-Thursday, 8:30 a.m.-8 p.m.; Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.; and Saturday, 9 a.m.-noon. After May 25, in-person registration hours are Monday-Thursday, 8:30 a.m.-8 p.m.

Students who have applied to or attended Oakton since summer 1999 may register using the Touch-Tone system on Monday-Friday, 7 a.m.-10 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. To register by phone, dial (847) 635-1616 and refer to the computer ID number listed by the course title in the Summer Credit Class Schedule.
