Registration Still Available for Oakton Summer Classes
Register now for summer 2006 classes at Oakton Community College.
Summer semester class listings may be found online at www.oakton.edu, or in the Summer 2006 Credit and Noncredit Class Schedule, which can be picked up at the Des Plaines campus, 1600 E. Golf Road, or Ray Hartstein Campus, 7701 N. Lincoln Ave., Skokie.
Eight-week courses begin the week of June 5; seven-week courses begin the week of June 12. Effective this summer, students may register for a course up to and including the first class meeting. Interim courses, spanning one to five weeks, are held between the spring and summer semesters. Students should refer to the Summer 2006 Credit and Noncredit Class Schedule for specific meeting times.
In-person registration is Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. - 7 p.m.; Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.; and Saturday, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. at Oakton's Des Plaines and Skokie campuses. Summer hours begin Monday, May 29, and Oakton will be closed to all activity Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. During summer hours, students may register for courses in person at both campuses, Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. - 7 p.m. Regular hours resume Monday, Aug. 14.
