Oakton Tour Travels to Australia and New Zealand

Explore the wonders of Australia and New Zealand on a South Pacific tour offered through Oakton Community College. Two-week tour leaves Sept. 21, 2006.

View the Parliament House, Fitzroy Gardens, and the Shrine of Remembrance during a tour of Melbourne, Australia. Travel to Phillip Island, home of the world's largest colony of Little Penguins, and witness the magical Little Penguin Parade - hundreds of birds that waddle out of the ocean and into their burrows in the dunes. Board a high speed catamaran for an exciting excursion to the Great Barrier Reef. Experience the magic of the Sydney Opera House and attend a captivating performance. Along the way, pass by the world's largest steel arch overpass, the Harbour Bridge. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the fjords of New Zealand on a cruise of the Milford Sound. An optional excursion to Fiji also is available.
