Time to Move Ahead? Update Job Skills at Oakton This Fall


Explore career options and develop new job skills by enrolling in courses offered this fall by Oakton's Alliance for Lifelong Learning (ALL).

New courses include Food Purchasing and Storage (HOS A19), Effective Management Communications (MAN A29), and several in Computer Networking (CISCO): Introduction to Networking (INT A01), Principles of Internet Routing (INT A02), Advanced Routing and Switching (INT A03), and Network Interfacing (INT A04).

More than 90 introductory and advanced job development courses are scheduled in such subject areas as accounting; CNC programming, CAM and automation; air conditioning, heating and refrigeration; hospitality and food service management; architecture; financial services; international trade; construction management; and design/AutoCAD.

Students who have registered for Oakton or ALL classes within the last five years and have a Social Security number on file may register by using the Touch-Tone system at (847) 635-1616 or by fax at (847) 635-1448. Both methods require payment using a major credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or Discover).
