Vendors of new and handcrafted items are invited to sign up now for
Oakton Community College's Fall Bazaar, Thursday, Oct. 26. This annual
event will be held 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., throughout the campus at 1600
E. Golf Road, Des Plaines.
The Fall Bazaar showcases seasonal merchandise to students, faculty,
and staff, as well as the general public. Oakton's convenient location
and abundance of free parking make the Fall Bazaar a unique selling
environment with a large attentive audience.
Rental
vendor spaces are available at two price levels: $50 for a single
space (4 feet by 6 feet) and $90 for a double (4 feet by 12 feet).
Vendors also may rent a table and two chairs for $15 (while supply
lasts). The Fall Bazaar committee reserves the right to select vendors
who best serve the image and quality of the event (no trademark "knock-off"
products allowed). All proceeds benefit Oakton's Annuitants Association,
serving retired College employees.
Early
registration is encouraged; vendors will be allocated space on a first-come,
