Many Perspectives, Many Lives: Unique Journeys of Chicago Women
in the Arts, 1:30 - 5 p.m., Friday, Nov. 4.
Join
Nathan Harpaz, curator of Oakton's Koehnline Museum of Art, for a
trip through the history of women who created and inspired art. Judy
Langston, a member of Oakton's art faculty, will follow hosting a
panel of women artists who will discuss the joys and challenges of
living and working in Chicago's competitive art scene.
The
afternoon, sponsored by Oakton's Women's Day Committee, will conclude
with a guided tour of the Koehnline Museum of Art, where guests will
have the opportunity to talk with exhibited artists about their work.
Admission is $10. Registration is required by Friday, Oct. 21. Register
