Take a closer look at Sophocles' classic tragedy, Antigone. When the grieving Antigone defies the King of Thebes to bury her dishonored brother, she is condemned to death herself. But Antigone's rebellion has larger repercussions — and brings the wrath of the gods down on the King himself.

Join students from Oakton and Wright as they read short papers on the play and lead a discussion.

2:15 - 3:15 p.m.
Enjoy an abridged staged reading of the play by Oakton faculty, followed by discussion.

Free and open to all classes and individuals; attendance slips provided at each event.
