Friends of the Gamelan

With roots stretching back to the World's Columbian Exposition of 1893 in Chicago, this unique group of musicians, playing together since 1980, brings the traditional music of south Asia to life with a rich and diverse repertoire, from centuries-old traditional Javanese compositions to contemporary works.
