Holocaust Memorials of Berlin

Take a closer look at Berlin’s many Holocaust memorials – from the famous Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe to the newest monument honoring Roma and Sinti (Gypsy) victims.

Presented by Anette Isaacs, M.A., Lecturer and Germany Expert.
Born and raised in Germany, Anette Isaacs received her master’s degree in American studies, political science, and history from Free University of Berlin. She speaks and presents on a wide range of German historical, cultural, social, and political topics. Isaacs, who often teaches Emeritus Program classes at Oakton, serves as academic director for Group IST (International Specialty Travel) Germany, and is founder and president of A&M Tours: Art and Music in Germany.
