New Orleans Field Study Information Session

Students interested in this field-study opportunity, led by Judy Langston professor of art and graphic design, must attend one of three no-obligation information sessions.

About the trip
Travel dates for The Architecture and Cemeteries of New Orleans: A Photographic Journey are May 18 - 26.

The French Quarter, Bourbon Street and St. Louis Cemetery are among the many historic locations that make New Orleans ideal for unique and varied photographic studies.

Students will take part in group meetings prior to departure, then travel to New Orleans via Amtrak’s famed City of New Orleans train and document multiple locations using their choice of conventional or digital photography. Upon their return to campus, students will produce a distinct body of work consisting of traditional or digital photographic prints.

For more information, contact Judy Langston at 847.376.7106 or clouds@oakton.edu.
