Oakton to host Feb. 9 spring campus visit

(Jan. 26, 2016) Want to learn more about the exciting programs and student life at Oakton Community College? Then make plans to take part in Oakton’s spring campus visit at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 9, at the college’s Skokie campus, Room P103, 7701 N. Lincoln Ave. in Skokie.

With more than 2,500 course offerings each term, Oakton offers a wealth of educational options in the heart of Chicago’s northern suburbs. Tour the campus and learn about Oakton's academic and career programs, services and student clubs. Talk with admission and financial aid representatives as well as current students about all the college has to offer.

Earn an associate degree or certificate from 80 areas of study, ranging from health careers, science, and technology to business and liberal arts. Whether transferring to a four-year institution or starting a career, convenient courses help students expand their options and prepare them for their next steps.

No matter the course of study, Oakton offers easy access to classes and student services. In addition to centrally located campuses in Des Plaines and Skokie, courses and programs are offered at more than 200 off-site locations throughout the community. Extensive distance-learning options include more than 90 online courses each year.
