can participate in the program? |

Participants will
be high school teachers who teach science, technology, engineering
or mathematics (STEM), and students who are interested in
STEM and selected by their teachers. |

No. The program
is free. It is funded by the National Science Foundation. |

8:00 AM-1:00 PM, Saturday, March 11, 2006. |

How many students
and teachers will participate in the program? |
| A. |
Only ten high
school teachers and fifty to seventy students they select
can participate in the program. |

How do you determine
who will participate if more than ten high school teachers
apply? |
| A. |
If there are more
than ten high school teachers, the priority will be that each
public high school in Oakton discrete will have at least one
teacher, we will next look at the date the registration forms
were faxed or postmarked. If you registered online, we will
check the date you submitted. Thus return the registration
forms as soon as possible. |

What are the benefits
of participating in the program? |
| A. |
Teachers will
receive a stipend of $200, CPDUs, and materials that can be
used in classes. Students will learn real world applications
and about the careers that use them, receive a small token,
and be considered for scholarships if they attend at Oakton.

Participants will
be responsible for their own transportation to Oakton. |

be in the same group as teachers and schoolmates? |

No. We hope people
from your school will participate in different projects so
that you can share your experience with your teachers and
friends. |

When is the deadline
to send the registration materials? |
| A. |
Forms should be
post marked by February 28, 2006. Students need to fill out
the form and return it to their teachers ASAP and before February
21, 2006. |
