Use this form to request a WebCT course shell be created. Choose one option (and only one) from the following 3 types:

  • (Option 1) Shell to develop course materials for a future semester
    • Examples: Bytes of Tech practice or development shell, a full-online class recently approved, a shell for evaluating new publisher epacks, any class use where you wish to build well in advance of a semester.
  • (Option 2) Shell for use with a class in a current semester or semster beginning within 4 weeks.
    • Shells will be populated with enrolled students
    • Shells will be based on Basic Template. Designers can copy materials from an existing shell to the new shell, if desired.
    • IMPORTANT: Full-online classes will be automatically created each semester. Only submit a form for web-enhanced classes.

  • (Option 3) Shell for non-class use
    • Examples: a math proficiency exam or a professional development workshop

Faculty should always feel free to consult with IT staff if they have special needs or questions about any of the Online Course Action Request forms.
