The Copy Center's main function is to produce copied materials for the College and its affiliates. It also offers a variety of services: |
| Services |

| Copying: | Copying, printing, color copies (up to 11" x 17"). A wide variety of stocks, including envelopes, cardstock, carbonless forms, labels, self-adhesive stock, table tents, and transparencies. | |
| Collating & Stapling: | Anything you have copied can be collated into sets and stapled, inline at no extra charge. Special projects involving manual collating and stapling may add a small additional fee. | |
| Booklet making: | We have equipment that can fold finished sets and saddle stich them into booklets. | |
| Delivery, including arrangements for delivery to RHC | The Copy Center will deliver your materials to your office or Division. Materials going to the Ray Hartstein campus are packaged (and in the case of exams, secured) and sent via Central Services. There are shipments leaving at 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. | |
| Laminating: | Heavy laminating can be applied to any size sheet from business card size up to 12" x 18". Larger items can be reinforced for use as signs. | |
| Digital output: | A wide variety of electronic files can be processed in the Copy Center. We have conversion software to translate unusual file types, MCA ability and access to all Oakton software. We can output sheets from normal letter size up to 11" x 17" tabloid. | |
| Folding: | Letter folds, brochures, flyers, and newsletters can be folded in-house. | |
| Cutting: | A commercial paper cutter is used to precisely cut paper in large blocks. Although it is not for use by personnel from outside the Copy Center, its' services are available. | |
| Binding: | Tape or spiral bindings can be applied to your finished books to add a polished look. | |
| Padding: | Applying glue to the edges of paper creates tablets, memo pads, routing slips, etc. | |
| Hole-punching: | A drill is used to add holes for placement in binders. The Copy Center does not normally carry binders. | |
| Transparencies: | Black ink only, or full color can be reproduced. Send us an original, digital file, web link, or disk. | |
| Numbering: | Sequential numbering of forms, tickets, etc. | |
| Self-adhesive stock and labels: | Full sheets, custom sizes, or for mailing. Ask us! | |
| Reductions/enlargements, 17" x 22": | Submit an 8 1/2 "x 11" original and it can be enlarged to 11" x 17", black ink only, ask about the availability of colored paper in this size. | |
| Table Tents: | We stock table tents in white and some colors. Time permitting, other colors can be ordered. The Copy Center can also adjust your provided copy to fit onto the table tent appropriately. |
| How to submit requests. |

| Media accepted: | Hard copy, 3 1/2" diskettes, CD's, 100M and 250M Zip, 1GB Jaz, Smart cards, web links or transparencies. |
