Career counselors take a developmental approach to guide students, alumni and community residents of District 535* through a process of career exploration and decision-making.

*Non-students/alumni living outside District 535 will be charged $35 per session to meet with a career counselor.

Career development is a lifelong process. Career counselors work with individuals to facilitate career decision making. Through an assortment of activities, career counselors guide individuals to discover those personal characteristics and motivators that influence career decisions. Although there are no magic answers, many tools and strategies are available that can help people to better understand their occupational identity.
