Dear Colleagues,
Everyone needs a Band-Aid now and then!
This Faculty First Aid Kit is designed to provide some
help for the problems students often encounter is their classes. These are not offered as
definitive solutions but as approaches that we in the Learning Center have found helpful.
You are encouraged to download and duplicate these materials for students, and you should
feel free to share them with colleagues. We look forward to receiving some materials from
you as well.
For Faculty – We have suggestions and tips for handling
particular learning problems with students and links to websites we've found useful for
our own learning. We've also included our writing referral form and our ESL referral form.
For Students – There are handouts to address common
tasks and issues students face with respect to their class work.
We hope you find this useful and that you will call on us
to support your work with students.
