Note Cards
- Use a separate note card for each new idea.
- Place the name of the general category of the note at the top of
each card.
- Include the author's name and page number(s) from which the
material comes.
- Recall that most note cards should be paraphrases or summaries
rather than direct quotations.
- Faithfully record any direct quotations and use quotation
marks.
