Oakton's Math Placement Test is an untimed, adaptive test administered on computer. You will have a unique test based on your ability and performance. If you answer several questions correctly, you will progress to the next, more difficult level. If you answer several questions incorrectly, you may be given easier questions, or the test will stop. You will be assigned placement at the level you have not yet mastered. Placement test results are available immediately after the test. A calculator is provided on the computer screen, or you may bring your own.
