supports approximately two dozen computer labs across both
the Oakton campuses. These include classroom labs, special
use labs, and open labs where students can work independently.

Classes needing lab time fall into
several scheduling categories. Credit classes that are lab-based
are scheduled as a group several months before the semester
begins. After these are set, faculty and others can request
short-term lab time using the online

vary somewhat in size, type of hardware, and layout. Hours

Who can use the labs? All Oakton credit students
and students in specially designated non-credit classes requiring
