From your message composition window:
- Click on the File Menu
- Click on Save As
- Click on Draft
This places a copy of your message in the Drafts folder.
Note: For most users, the Drafts folder can be found under localmail rather than under borg mail. Local mail on-campus is on your H: drive so you won't be able to resume work on drafts off-campus. An alternative might be to send the message to yourself.
To open a message saved as a Draft:
- Click on Drafts in the Folders frame.
- This will change the header list frame in Messenger from showing the Inbox to showing the contents of the Drafts folder.
- Click once on the header of a draft to view it.
- Click twice to launch it into its own composition window.
With the Draft now in the composition window, you can begin work again. When complete, click the Send button as usual.
Note: Each time you wish to suspend work on your message you must repeat saving it as a draft. Each saved draft will stay in the Drafts folder until you delete it. Earlier saves will not be automatically overwritten by newer versions.
