The Library has subscriptions to approximately 13,000 magazines, journals, and newspapers. There is a title and subject list of these periodicals. Most recent periodical issues are in browsing; back issues are in a closed area. You may look for materials yourself or ask the staff to retrievematerials. Except for the most recent issue, you may check out periodicals for oneweek. Note that students may not check out periodicals. Library staff will make copies of articles for you. Use computer indexes to find articles in periodicals. Many indexes include the full text of articles. Our interlibrary loan staff person will order articles from periodicals not owned by Oakton and not on available on the computer. Ask at the CirculationDesk.
