DISCUSSION GROUPS

Savvy Internet users, use the Web in their job search for more than finding job listings, posting resumes and doing research on companies. They use the Web to connect with people in their field; NETWORKING!

Remember that Networking is not just important, it is an essential component of an effective job search.

As a subscriber to a discussion group (also called Mailing Lists), you can join conversations about issues and trends in your field.

The development of specialized online discussion groups has made it easier for job seekers to meet and interact with other professionals in the same field or industry.
