Student Life and Campus Inclusion

Learning does not stop when you exit the classroom at Oakton. We believe that one of the most important aspects of attending college is your personal growth and enrichment, in addition to your academic development. Oakton is proud of our community’s diverse and equitable environment in which all our students can find a club or activity with which to engage. The Office of Student Life and Campus Inclusion has made it our mission to emphasize and encourage student engagement throughout the college and the larger campus community. With office locations on both the Des Plaines and Skokie campuses, we encourage you to reach out to our team any time to learn more about what life at Oakton has to offer.

The Center for Campus Inclusion and Diversity

Oakton is dedicated to ensuring equity and opportunity for every member of our diverse student body. The Center for Campus Inclusion and Diversity exists to address students' needs and concerns from historically marginalized communities and help them access opportunities through programs, services and resources related to equity, diversity and inclusion. Every program and service we offer provides rewarding co-curricular experiences and opportunities for learning, growth and making a difference. Oakton is a safe environment where we aspire to encourage every student to discover and be their best self.
