I first found out about the Learning Center when a math tutor came to our math class and explained about the benefits and the help you can get up here.

The first time when I came in I was very nervous because I knew I needed help with math and I didn’t know how to ask for it or how I would be looked at.  But the beauty of it was that the student tutor was upfront and she asked me, she saw I was nervous and she directed me straight to what I needed help with and that’s how I ended up meeting Jerry.

Jerry helped me a lot with my math and he knew the right questions to ask me. In order to be able to help me in studying in understanding and looking at exactly the things that would help me succeed.

With him, I was actually able to get a really good grade, to pass my quizzes, my tests and I am very happy that I came in.  Even though I was nervous the first time, the people at the Learning Center helped me not feel bad about the fact that I had to ask for help. But made me feel good that I know where to go and get help.
