Humanities 125: Introduction to Music

Intro to Music is essencially a music history course starting with Ancient Greece, and covering the Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, and Romantic periods, with a smattering of music from the rest of the world. At the end of the course, we will cover 20th Century music and American Popular Music. The textbook we will be using is The Enjoyment of Music by Machlis.
