Contact Douglas Giles

Douglas Giles has taught philosophy for seven years. His specialty is the history of philosophy and the interactions among philosophy, religion, and culture. He believes that students deserve the opportunity to learn divergent viewpoints and make up their own minds. Thus, he believes that the instructor has a duty to present the beliefs and ideas honestly and without bias.

That means all students are invited to participate and are free to speak their minds so that learning becomes a fun collective pursuit. .
