I
recently defended my dissertation, titled "The Conjectural
Body: Gender, Race, and the Philosophy of Music", at DePaul
University.
My research interests
include contemporary continental philosophy, feminist, critical
race, and postcolonial theories, aesthetics, and especially the
philosophy of music.
At Oakton, I
teach "Women and Creativity," "Contemporary Culture
and the Arts," as well as "Business Ethics".
I also compose
electronic music and play the oboe.
