Bernard Roddy holds a PhD in philosophy from the University of Rochester and an MFA in Media Study from the University at Buffalo. He has nearly 10 years of teaching experience, including a wide variety of philosophy and humanities courses.
Professor Roddy has also made award-winning animation and experimental films that have screened at competitive international film and video festivals. Among his interests he lists alternative video and internet culture.
He has written essays for internet web sites on intellectual property, the death penalty, and the prison industry. He is a firm believer in the potential of media to empower people like you.
