Hollace Graff, Chair

Kamran is 29, and currently living in the Lakeview neighborhood of
Chicago. He teaches philosophy courses at Chicago area community colleges.

He holds a BA in philosophy from Bemidji State University, and an MA in
Humanities from the University of Chicago. He specializes in Darwin,
17-19th century philosophy of science, and Spinoza. In ages long past, he
was a US Marine Corps machinegunner. He travelled the world, met
interesting people from foreign cultures, and happy to say that he never
shot a single one.

He is convinced that somewhere in the world, there is a
market for non-violent, machinegunning philosophers, but he has yet to
find his niche. In the mean time, his principal hobby involves tasting
strange and unusual beers, which follows by logical necessity.
