Welcome…

to my Oakton home page. A full-time professor of English at Oakton for five years, I teach EGL 102, Women and Literature, GLBT Literature, and African-American Literature, as well as humanities courses in Women and Creativity and Contemporary Culture and the Arts. My Ph.D. in English is from Loyola University Chicago, where I specialized in twentieth-century American literature and gender studies, my ongoing research interests. Away from work, I sing with The Folktons, and I love medieval music, jazz, and theater, as well as my three cats and puppy.
