- This is innuendo. The statements imply that Jim was lying, but this claim is not
made directly.
- This is a phantom distinction since deserting his wife and children and moving
on to the new relationship are descriptions of the same action.
- There is a complex question that presupposes that the person addressed stole the
cookies. The other questions are rhetorical questions that do not by themselves support a
conclusion.
