Homework and quizzes for material covered on a test are due the day of the test.

Oakton's Testing Center hours vary, so please check them before your test to allow yourself enough time.
The on-campus exams may be taken at either campus.

You may bring one page of notes (both sides) and your calculator to tests.

Free tutoring is available in the Learning Center at either campus.

8/24	Classes Begin Start Chapter R Optional	Review Material Optional.  Use Optional Chapter R to explore the software and become familiar with the website. You may return to it as a resource, if needed, later in the course.
8/24	Start Chapter 1	Required Material.
9/7		Labor Day holiday.  College closed.
9/8	Start Chapter 2
9/20		Last day to change to “Audit”. Last day to withdraw and have the course dropped from record.
9/21	Exam 1	First On-Campus Exam in Testing Center on Chapter 1, Chapter 2. You may bring one page of notes (both sides, if you like) and your calculator. Homework and quizzes for Chapters 1 and 2 are due. Please check the testing center’s hours.
9/21	Start Chapter 3
10/5	Start Chapter 4
10/18		Last day to withdraw with a “W”.
10/19	Start Chapter 5
11/2	Exam 2	Second On-Campus Exam in Testing Center on Chapter 3, Chapter 4 and Chapter 5 (Sections 5.1, 5.2 & 5.7). You may bring one page of notes (both sides if you like) and your calculator. Homework and quizzes for Chapters 3, 4 and 5 (Sections 5.1, 5.2 & 5.7) are due. Please check the testing center’s hours.
11/2	Start Chapter 6
11/11		Veterans’ Day holiday.   College closed.
11/17	Start Chapter 7
11/26- 11/27		Thanksgiving recess.  College closed.
12/15	Exam 3--Final Exam	Third On-Campus Exam in Testing Center will focus on Chapter 6, Chapter 7 (7.1, 7.2 and 7.3).  This test is comprehensive. Use the two previous exams as study guides for review. You may bring one page of notes (both sides, if you like) and your calculator. Homework and quizzes for Chapters 6 and 7.1, 7.2 &7.3 are due.
