Dick Wants More Torturing Done
Satire about Vice President Dick "Big Time War Crime" Cheney, who is publicly trying to defend the use of secret off-shore torture as official U.S. policy, in violation of the Geneva Conventions, which the United States is obligated to honor by international treaty
(Sung to the tune of "Fortunate Son" by Creedence Clearwater Revival)

(instrumental intro)
More war, he's sworn, though Bush polls now sag.
Prisoners beaten black and blue!
Iraq's the land for sale to our chief.
Here's what our secret prisons will do...

We can't see... we can't see... the deaths of innocent ones, no!
We can't see... we can't see... Dick wants more torturing done!
Yeah!

(instrumental break)

Iraq's war-torn; chaos in that land.
Halliburton helps themselves, ho!
Dick won't call them "prisoners of war."
Interrogated in secret jails, yes!

We can't see... we can't see... just how "renditions" are done.
We can't see... we can't see... Dick wants more torturing done.
Yeah!

(instrumental break)

Dick's not embarassed; war was based on lies
Had to find excuse for war, yeah
"It isn't torture, if we let them live."
It's done in secret cells off-shore.

We can't see... we can't see... what's Rummy's military done.
We can't see... we can't see... Dick wants more torturing done.
We can't see... we can't see... Dick wants more torturing done.
We can't see... we can't see... Dick wants more torturing done...

(repeat refrain and fade)
