We choose it, though we lose it.
No two votes are quite the same.
We liked Gore, though we’ve lost Gore.
Baby Bush is whom to blame.

So kiss votes goodbye,
Watch democracy die.
All the votes that were cast won’t change their minds.
Bush stole the votes while the lawyers took notes
And the court kissed George W’s behind.

We wait awhile for a court that is vile
To decide some votes don’t count at all.
