Bush sneaked into St. Pat's Cathedral,
Protected by the Secret Serves,
He met Giuliani and Pataki
But for real folks, he had no nerve

Didn't anybody tell him?
(No) Didn't even let him see
The 1,000 Shrub protesters,
"Welcoming" him to NYC?

We shouted that he stole the election,
That he was pro-life and pro-gun,
But while we were cordoned off on 5th Avenue.
Sneaky bush slithered in on Madison.

And so the whole police department
Treated us protesters like slobs.
And though they tried their best to curb us,
Our message to shrub they could not rob...

Didn't anybody tell him?
