Jokes About His Lies
After the deaths of nearly 700 U.S. troops and over 10,000 civilians in Iraq in a war started by his lies, Bush's tasteless joke about missing WMD's in Iraq during the annual dinner of the Radio and Television News Correspondents Association has drawn widespread criticism.
(Sung to the tune of "Smoke Gets In Your Eyes" by The Platters)

(instrumental intro)

There's no doubt that Bush knew
His war lies weren't true.
No-o-o-o...
Thousands of folks died
In Iraq, for pride.
WMD's "hide."

No weapons did we find.
Rush to war was blind.
So-o-o-o...
Now Iraq's on fire.
Bush, whom we despise,
Jokes about his lies.

Bush's gaffe, reporters cruelly laugh;
They think "a great joke" from Shrub.
Bush will play; Rove tells him what to say.
There's still no doubt, he'll flub.

Soon, laughing will subside;
Fears Bush cannot hide.
No-o-o-o...
On Election Day,
Bush may say goodbye.
Joked about his lies...

(Joked about his lies... joked about his lies...)

Joked... a-bout... his... lies!

(instrumental ending)
