Military Man
Over three decades ago, Poppy Bush pulled strings to help Dubya avoid the Vietnam War by training as a pilot for an obsolete airplane in the Texas Air National Guard - and Shrub still went AWOL for a year
(Sung to the tune of "Solitary Man" by Neil Diamond)

(instrumental intro)

Pretender was fine at draft time; Shrub could flounder,
At his whim... who stopped him?
Air Guard played along; Bush's throng and his Dad bought
Zilch to do... Shrub could hide, too.

Shrub crowed he could kill through his will; makes war blindly.
The world he would slay, but still play games; act "kindly."
Just another scam...
Bush, "military man."
Military man.

Bush had to use fear, or we'd jeer, "Shrub's a small bird."
Part-time king... fake with strings.
We know he's a dunce who had once shirked his duty.
One year along... AWOL's wrong..

Shrub crowed he could kill through his will; makes war blindly.
The world he would slay, but still play games; act "kindly."
Just another scam...
Bush, "military man."
Military man.

(instrumental break)

Shrub crowed he could kill through his will; makes war blindly.
The world he would slay, but still play games; act "kindly."
Just another scam...
Bush, "military man."
Military man.
Military man...
Military man...
Military man...

(fade)
