Some Now Chant Impeachment
Despite a general U.S. media blackout, the now-infamous Downing Street Memo has outraged the world as "smoking gun" proof that the Bush Administration was hell-bent on war as early as 2002, and had deliberately lied to Congress and the American people while fabricating bogus "evidence" to support their illegal war on Iraq. Democrats in Congress are now calling for a formal investigation of Bush, which could lead to his impeachment for high crimes.
(Sung to the tune of "Some Enchanted Evening" from the Rodgers & Hammerstein musical, "South Pacific")

(instrumental intro)

Some now chant "impeachment!"
Bush had hyped the danger.
Bush had hyped the danger,
"Saddam's destructive doom."

From Britain, we know
Bush wanted war when
His reasons were bogus,
So fraud was his plan.

Some now chant "impeachment!"
White House isn't laughing.
White House isn't laughing.
Downing Street Memo gloom.

Our troops died in fights
For neocons' schemes.
Iraq War disaster;
Insane are their dreams.

Bush won't explain it.
Bush won't tell you why.
Made up war reasons;
Won't admit his lie.

Some now chant "impeachment!"
There's no evidence of...
There's no evidence of...
"Saddam's destructive doom."

The White House still hides
Why Bush went alone.
Snuffed thousands of lives
For Iraq oil to own.

War crimes compounded;
Bush had made it so.
War crimes compounded;
Bush... had... made... it... so...

(instrumental ending)
