(instrumental intro)
Last night as I got home, about half past ten.
There was a story I thought I heard,
But I thought I heard wrong again.
That gosh darn fool went to a school.
Let me tell you what happened then.
Bush told the kids to get pen pals
In some place like Uzbekistan.
Oh, write a letter, Osama...
Address it to my boy.
Fill it up with anthrax germs.
How is that for a ploy?
So write a letter, Osama...
Address it to my girl.
Get your friends to join the fun, too.
Part of our strange new world.
George has said many things, but this is worst.
An idea unspeakably twee
To let our kids gets mail each day.
From close, the enemy.
Was he wrong to work hard to try to build a kids' bridge?
It seems that mail we get right now might just
Cost us a life
When a child writes to someone.
You know it's hard to understand,
That he or she could find some risk in the mail from
another land.
Its time right now we noticed that the mail is a source
of attack.
Why should we get our kids so involved,
Can't we find them some other track?
Oh, write a letter, Osama...
Address it to my boy.
Fill it up with anthrax germs.
How is that for a ploy?
So, write a letter, Osama.
Address it to my girl ...
Get your friends to join the fun, too
Part of our strange new world.
