1. Deadline for Graduation Petitions

If you have completed more than 60 credit hours at Oakton, you probably have met the graduation requirements at Oakton. You may want to consider graduating and participating in the graduation ceremony. The deadline for filing graduation petition is March 3. The number of graduates is often used to compare between colleges. We have a large number of Oakton students who have successfully transferred to other universities, but Oakton’s graduate rate has not been impressive. You can help change this.

2. Honors Transfer Luncheon

Honors Program sponsors the Honors Transfer Luncheon on Wednesday, February 14th from 12:00 to 2:30 in room 1610. Fourteen college transfer counselors from UIC, DePaul, Loyola, Northwestern, Northern, Northeastern, IIT, Columbia, Roosevelt, Elmhurst, etc. will be at the Luncheon to speak to and recruit Honors students. This is a great chance for you to find out about programs, scholarships, make connections, all in one afternoon, and there is free food!

3. List of Universities Where Oakton Students Are Transferring

If you transfer after this semester, please let us know. We would like to publish a list of universities you are transferring.
