Welcome

Welcome to my Oakton home page. I have an M.B.A in Marketing from De Paul University. I have over 15 years experience in marketing including Product Management, Product Development and Sales. In addition, I have had an opportunity to work in an International capacity. I have developed and marketed products in the technology, financial services and publishing sectors. In addition to my marketing experience, I have extensive training and teaching experience. The classes that I have taught include marketing, global business studies, management, general business, entrepreneurship and English as Second Language.

I have a particular interest in international business. My classes always have an international element to them. In the past, my students have had the opportunity to work with companies in Peru, Brazil and Greece. I believe that “hands-on” experience is the best teacher. I have a passion for languages. Currently, I speak Spanish, is studying Italian and contemplating learning Mandarin!

If you are looking to work with an instructor who has “been there, done that”. my practical business experience, along with my passion for teaching make my classes “vale la pena”- worth it!
