Welcome

Working with students and helping them achieve their goals has been one of the greatest joys of working here at Oakton since I began in 1977. The courses I teach are in the Computer Application Software, Computer Office Technology and World Wide Web areas. I hold an Illinois teaching and administrative certificate, have authored a word processing text published by Holt, Rhinehart and Winston, and have worked in a variety of office environments to bring first-hand knowledge into my classrooms both on campus and online. I am the mother of two young daughters. We have a dog and three cats. I get a lot of pleasure spending time with them all. When there is time, I also enjoy reading, doing needlework and working on arts and crafts projects, especially with the girls.
