Welcome

Welcome to my Oakton home page. I am currently chair of the Health Information Technology programs. I have been a professor at Oakton for over 20 years. I have a masters degree in adult education from National Louis University and I am a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) and a Certified Coding Specialist (CCS).

I have taught all the courses in Health Information Technology programs. I also teach on both the Des Plaines and Skokie campuses. My goal is to make the health information technology programs relevant to the healthcare environments that employ our students.
