For the past 20 years, I have served as the chair of Electronics and Computer Technology at Oakton Community College. Prior to serving as the Chair, I also taught a multitude of classes within the ( ELT), (RFD) and (ENG) programs at Oakton. I have also been a Professor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Parkland College in Champaign, IL. I served in that capacity for 12 years, and then departed to work for 5 years in private industry, working with Fortune 500 companies like Motorola, Tellabs, and Lucent Technologies. I hold a bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering Technology from the Oregon Institute of Technology and a master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Oregon State University. In addition, I have done post-graduate work at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I enjoy fishing and sports in my spare time.
