"Here at Oakton Community College, the safety and security of our students, faculty and staff - as well as the campus in general - is our mission. The Department of Public Safety seeks to promote mutual cooperation and conflict resolution by establishing a positive social atmosphere where effective learning can take place. The professionals in the Department cooperate with many other individuals and organizations on and around the campus to accomplish that mission."
