Facilities Management and Engineering (FME)

The Facilities Management and Engineering curriculum prepares students for occupations involving the management and maintenance of small to large facilities. A variety of career opportunities in this area exist for well-trained, competent people. The emphasis of the curriculum is on basic principles, making it possible for graduates to progress rapidly in their jobs with little or no on-the-job training.

Professionals already working in the field find this prpogram most helpful in upgrading their knowledge in a variety of subjects. Course work that includes both technical and general education subjects leads to an associate degree. For professionals whose careers require primarily technical skills, two certificates are offered. A degree or certificate provides valuable recognition for advancement.

Facility managers who want to move their staff members toward greater competency, responsibility and future advancement find this program very helpful. Continuing education increases employee productivity, morale and confidence.
