Introduction
to Linguistics (EGL 260)
Familiarizes students with the fundamental concepts of language,
including phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, sociolinguistics,
psycholinguistics, historical linguistics, and neurolinguistics.
Methods
of Teaching ESL (EGL 262)
Introduces methods of TESOL in the areas of listening, speaking,
reading, and writing, and provides hands-on experience working with
ESL students.
Theories
of Teaching ESL (EGL 261)
This course introduces
to the basic concepts, principles and therories of teaching English
as a second language (TESOL).
