Geometry Prerequisite Requirement
To register for mathematics classes numbered above 052, you must have met the Geometry Prerequisite Requirement.

The Elementary Plane Geometry requirement can be met in any one of four ways: 

  1.  Successful completion at Oakton of MAT 053, Elementary Plane Geometry,
       with a grade of Pass, or

  2.  High school transcript showing one year of Geometry with a grade of C or better, or

  3.  College transcript showing the equivalent of MAT 053, Elementary Plane Geometry,
       with a grade of C or better,
or 
  4.  An appropriate score on the OCC Geometry Assessment Test.
